President Obama has let down a lot of people who trusted him not to yield to political pressure and support gay marriage; especially the African-American community who have been so proud to have this black man who represents the hopes of desires of our people as well as a nation of supporters.
President Obama professes himself to be Christian and I believe him; he is like many or even most of the modern, liberal Christians that are lukewarm in their understanding and commitment to God’s Word/Jesus Christ and to his commands.
He and so many of my brothers and sisters in the Body of Christ have given themselves over to a world view rather than a kingdom mindset. There spirituality is shallow and just below the outward surface is pride, doubt, unbelief, greed, self-reliance and the list goes on.
Don’t pretend that you don’t put your confidence in man’s abilities….you do it each and every time you vote for anyone who you think can advance your own agenda. You see the truth is….you really don’t believe God can or will “give you the desires of your heart”. You don’t really believe who and what the Word of God says you are and you really are not keen to submit yourself totally to the Will of God.
President Obama, Vice-President Biden and most if not all of the politicians who claim to be Christians, do not walk in the power and authority of Jesus Christ. They bend to the will of the political machine and interest groups who supply the finance to keep them in the position of power that they long for.
If only, any of them had the courage to stand for the Truth and not be daunted by the powers of the world, powers of darkness and rulers of darkness in high places (remember this is a spiritual battle), they could see the Power of God working against all of the lies and unrighteous works of the Devil.
Problem is….most of our political leaders bend to the will of the world and forsake their God given place in Jesus Christ….they are afraid to surrender to God. There’s a song by William McDowell titled “I Give Myself Away” and one of the verses is especially power that says “my life is not my own, to you I belong….” If only we could ALL believe that. “God help my unbelief” should be on the lips of every Child of God.
Please hear me saints….God is real and He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him: Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Abortion and Gay Marriage will destroy the very fabric of our Nation, our culture and our society. Don’t turn a blind eye to what is at work here….it is the Devil’s handi-work.
The Day of Our Lord’s Coming is fast approaching, we must build ourselves and each other up on our most holy Faith. I want to share two Scriptures with you that are most important for us to study so that we can understand the times and seasons that we are in:
Jude 1 (KJV)

REVELATION 22

Hello Minister Glenda! This is a powerful piece. I really enjoyed reading it. I sense that Gay marriage is a sensitive issue for you, and you wish President Obama kept his opinion to himself.
Well, here is a shocker, President Obama, like myself, does not support Gay marriage. He said so during the 2008 campaign. However, he does, like myself, support marriage equality. He believes everybody is free to marry whoever he or she wishes to marry, and such person should not be penalized. In Matthew, 13:24-25 Jesus uses a parable to teach His disciples a great lesson that many of us pay little or no attention to.
“Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man who sowed good seed in his field:
25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest, I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn” (Matthew 13:24:30).

Hi Noel thank you for sharing your insight on this message. I personally believe that Obama is not a supporter of Gay Marriage, what is distrubing to me is that he and many of my brothers and sisters are willing to compromise what is Holy to God, so that men can feel comfortable with their sin.
I am a great lover of all people, but I will not compromise my relationship with God for anyone…..not my children, husband, parents…. not anyone.
I would really like to see someone who calls his or herself a Christian and who has a world platform to speak from, stand up for the righteousness of God.
Why should my children and grandchildren be forced to believe that what is a lie?
Why should my children and grandchildren have to keep the Truth of God’s Word to themselves?
Sorry Noel, but Marriage is a Holy Covenant ordained by God to reflect the relationship that God desires between himself and the Church. God told us when he gave the commandments to Moses in the “Old Testament that homosexuality is an abomination; that man shall not lay with another man as with a woman; In the New Testament….read Romans 1:18-32 where it explicitly speaks about God’s anger against humanity for their sinfulness.
If you go back to the Scripture I posted here, Revelation 22, read verses 14 & 15….in every greek translation of the bible, the word used in place of homosexuals is “dogs”…..I believe that is very misleading….this translation is Hebraic which I believe is more accurate.

Don’t get me wrong, Minister Glenda. I agree with everything you said. The problem I have, and not specifically with you, is many Christians demonized and hate Gay people. That is wrong. These people are human beings and they deserve love and respect like any heterosexual. Gay and Lesbians are our neighbors and the Bible tells me to love my neighbor as myself.
For many years I was bitterly against Gay and Lesbian people until I read and grasped John 8:1-11.
“But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.
2 Now early in the morning He came again into the temple, and all the people came to Him; and He sat down and taught them. 3 Then the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman caught in adultery. And when they had set her in the midst, 4 they said to Him, “Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act. 5 Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say?” 6 This they said, testing Him, that they might have something of which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear.
7 So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” 8 And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. 9 Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. Sorry for the delay in responding Noel. I do understand what you are saying Noel and for sure we are to love all people as our neighbors. I do. As a matter of fact there are gays and lesbians in my family tree and believe me, I love them.
My heart goes out to them because they believe a lie; the lie being….that God made them gay or lesbian; it doesn’t make sense that God would create someone a certain way and then call it an abomination; remember we are in a spiritual battle and our mind is the battlefield.
God will not go against his Word…..He is unchangeable.
I believe that gaymarriage is a plot of the Devil to profane what God has ordained as Holy.
It’s very disturbing to me how people say they love God, but are unwilling to obey His commands….Yes we are to love our neighbors as ourselves, but Jesus also said….”if you love me, keep my commandments”……God’s Word is clear on this.
