“Dear Heavenly Father,
I am suffering with feelings of confusion, depression, fear and suicide. I am trying to trust you to carry me through this, but I am struggling. It feels like you are not there but I know this is a lie that Satan wants me to believe; help me to turn away from the lies of the enemy.
Lord, I know you have not given me the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind so I reject the lying spirit and the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus the Christ! Lord, I know that you are not the author of confusion according to your Word in 1Corinthians 14:33 – “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace” and I choose to believe your Word so I reject the spirit of confusion in the name of Jesus the Christ!
I feel a heavy spirit of depression binding me and I want to be set free according to your Word which Jesus read in the synagogue, in Isaiah 61 – “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; To comfort all who mourn, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”
So in the name of Jesus the Christ, I bind and cast into outer darkness the demonic spirit of heaviness and all of it’s roots of depression, confusion, spiritual apathy, shame, hiding, justification of sin, suicide, death, and hopelessness.
Satan the Blood of Jesus is against you; I reject the lies you have been speaking…lies of worthlessness to my self-esteem and for so long I have believed you but I renounce these beliefs in the name of Jesus the Christ!
Now Father God, fill me with your Holy Spirit and with Power, fill me with your Love, let your Grace abound in me as I walk in the newness of life that you’ve given me through your precious son, the Lord Jesus and use me for your glory!
Thank you for your precious promise in John 8:36 – “Whom the Son makes free, is free indeed”.
In Jesus Name…Amen!
