PRAYER AND WARNING FOR 2017

My prayer as we enter into the New Year of 2017, is that we will enter giving thanks and praise to Almighty God; that we will highly exalt His Holy Name; that we will acknowledge that He alone is worthy of honor and glory; and all power is in His hands!

I pray that God’s people will put away worldly thinking and no longer walk according to the course of this world; but will walk according to the Holy Spirit of God and boldly proclaim that Jesus the Christ is Lord of all and “that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

I pray that blind eyes be opened, and deaf hears hear what the Spirit of the Lord is speaking through His Prophets and in His Word in
Revelation 22:
12 “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”

14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. 15 But outside are homosexuals and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.

16 “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.”

17 And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.

18 For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book;

19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

20 He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.”
Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

So the Spirit of the Lord says that YOU MUST CHOOSE THIS DAY WHOM YOU WILL SERVE!
Stop murmuring and complaining, stop trying to figure out what’s going on in the world and do what I’ve commanded you to do….”Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature!”

OUR CHURCH VAN CAUGHT FIRE

Hello!

I’m Pastor Glenda Jackson with Abundant Life In Christ Church. Last night an electrical fire caused one of our church vans to burn up. Our need for this van is critical because our ministry is to mostly poor and homeless families and individuals. We pick up people (including elderly, sick and disabled) for church service and other programs going on at church, take people to doctor’s appointments and other appointments, help people get home with groceries and laundry so we need to get our van replaced quickly.

CASTING DOWN STRONGHOLDS (Gleanings From Derek Prince)

2a : a place of security or survival; 2b: a place dominated by a particular group or marked by a particular characteristic

First we have to understand that there are two kingdoms at war: God’s Kingdom and Satan’s Kingdom. There are some who are not aware that Satan has an invisible kingdom and that’s the way he wants it.

Satan fears Deliverance Ministry because it exposes his kingdom and it reveals the victory and supremacy that God’s Kingdom has over his kingdom.
Every moment of every day, there are battles going on in the heavenly realm between God’s armies of angels and the devil’s army. Unfortunately too many Believers are completely unaware of the reality of the spirit realm and all of the activity that goes on there.

So I have been very aware recently of the heightened demonic activities and attacks on the people of God. There is an urgency in the spirit that I sense is increasing on both sides (good & evil) because the Day of the Lord is very close now. I also see demonic strongholds everywhere, but there’s not much concern among Believers regarding this.
While watching Derek Prince’s video “Casting Down Strongholds”, he mentions certain strongholds that seem to have dominion over specific areas or regions of nations (it can be seen in cities and even neighborhoods as well). So he named a few strongholds that he has observed in certain countries and he mentioned one in particular in regards to New Zealand which is the stronghold of indifference. The definition of indifference is: lack of interest in or concern about something. Indifference is very dangerous because it will allow anything to happen with no opposition or concern for the consequences. Jesus addressed the indifferent people in the Church of Laodicea in Revelation 3:14-18, “These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation. I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm — neither hot nor cold — I am about to spit you out of My mouth.

He indicated that the United States of America is dominated by the stronghold of rebellion, which can be seen everywhere in this country, even among the youngest of children. As you may know, rebellion is likened to witchcraft as indicated in 1 Samuel 15:23 – For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft.
However, any of these strongholds can manifest anywhere among any group of peoples. One only needs to look at the rampant sin and wickedness that has taken hold of our nation, and look also at the concerted efforts being made to take God out of our country and rid the world of Jesus the Christ! It is evil and it is demonic, and yet there is very little concern or urgency among the people of God. I conclude that there is a stronghold of indifference among many Believers which has given Satan and his demons a foothold to dominate this country and this world.

Derek Prince goes on to state that “domination is satanic; Satan seeks to dominate the whole world” so that he can destroy as many people as he can and take them captive into his kingdom. Just as God has a heavenly kingdom, Satan’s kingdom is in the heavens above us as well and he continues to influenced millions of people; Ephesians 2:2 – “Wherein times past you walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience”.
So how do we cast down or pull down these strongholds? Derek Prince states that “God has given us (Christians) alone the weapons for spiritual warfare” with which we are to use in casting down strongholds.

A stronghold is deception that’s taken hold in a person’s mind. It’s an incorrect thinking pattern based on a believed lie. People can get incorrect perceptions of God by listening to Satan as he tells them how God doesn’t love them, etc. People can feel like dirty old sinners when they believe Satan’s accusations as he continually reminds them of their past (which has been washed away!). Strongholds are based on lies from the devil. They can come in the form of deception or accusations. Accusations always lead to guilt and the feeling of unworthiness, which weighs you down and tears you apart spiritually. Since strongholds are built upon lies that we have been fed, the way we tear down strongholds is by feeding on the truth (in God’s Word), which is the opposite of what the enemy has been feeding us. If the enemy has been feeding us a lie, we need to stop eating the lie and start feeding ourselves the truth. The weapon we use to tear down strongholds is found in Ephesians 6:17, “…the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” A sword is an offensive weapon and is meant to tear down and kill the enemy’s troops. Strongholds are the devil’s assets in war, and he uses them against us. Take up the sword of the Spirit (God’s Word) today, and start slaughtering the enemy’s assets that he’s been using against you!

We are involved in this spiritual war whether we want to be or not! So we must prepare for battle. Prayer assails Satan’s Kingdom (assail means to violently attack); no wonder the enemy causes so many of us to be lax in our prayer times; and we need to learn how to pray!

So here’s what we need to pull down/cast down strongholds: Prayer & Fasting; the whole armor of God as outlined in Ephesians 6:10-17: the Belt of Truth, the Breastplate of Righteousness; the Preparation of the Gospel of Peace; the Shield of Faith; the Helmet of Salvation and the Sword of the Spirit (which is the Word of God!). Praying always with ALL prayer and supplication in the Spirit.

GOD’S MESSAGE FOR 2016 GIVE HEED TO THE BLAMELESS WAY

I wrote a message and posted it to Facebook on December 30th at 3am which started out with “I’ve been thinking about all of my brothers and sisters in Christ. Thinking about the way so many of you carry yourselves….you walk the way of the world and not Christ….that’s shameful.”  The Lord put something in my heart that He wants to share with His people, and which is also a further expansion of that message, so He showed me

Psalm 101:1-8 –
1 I will sing of mercy and loving-kindness and justice; to You, O Lord, will I sing.
2 I will behave myself wisely and give heed to the blameless way—O when will You come to me? I will walk within my house in integrity and with a blameless heart.
3 I will set no base or wicked thing before my eyes. I hate the work of them who turn aside [from the right path]; it shall not grasp hold of me.
4 A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will know no evil person or thing.
5 Whoso privily slanders his neighbor, him will I cut off [from me]; he who has a haughty look and a proud and arrogant heart I cannot and I will not tolerate.
6 My eyes shall [look with favor] upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; he who walks blamelessly, he shall minister to me.
7 He who works deceit shall not dwell in my house; he who tells lies shall not continue in my presence.
8 Morning after morning I will root up all the wicked in the land, that I may eliminate all the evildoers from the city of the Lord.

So to make a long story short: Way too many Believers are living in sin, fornicating, turning up, supporting abortions, watching all kinds of filthy TV shows and movies, supporting gay marriage, not taking good care of your children because if they see you living this way you are not presenting a good witness to them or anyone else.

According to verses 2-3 in this psalm we should “behave wisely and give heed to the blameless way; walk with integrity (even) within your house and with a blameless heart; set no base or wicked thing before your eyes! And go down to verse 6: “he who walks blamelessly, he shall minister to me.”

We are entering a pivotal time for the Church and Believers as we enter 2016. I was shown something very interesting about 2016 according to God’s Numbering system:    2016: 2+0=2, 2+1=3, 3+6=9

The number nine has great significance for the Church and all Believers in Yeshua Ha’Mashiach so after doing some more investigating I found an interesting article on God’s Biblical #9:

Now it was the third hour [9:00 a.m.], and they crucified Him. (Mark 15:25) And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” which is translated, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” (Mark 15:34)

Nine is the number of judgment and finality.
It is the last of the digits, and thus marks the end; and is significant of the conclusion of a matter. What time was Jesus nailed to the cross? The Bible says the third hour. That’s 9:00 in the morning. How long did He hang on the cross? The Bible says He dismissed His spirit at 3:00 in the afternoon. That’s the ninth hour of the day. Jesus’ work on earth was finished.

A cycle of finality is indicated in the nine generations from Adam to Noah. Then the flood was the judgment.

Noah’s generation was the ninth from Adam, and Abraham’s generation was the ninth from Noah. Representing finality and judgment.

The Bible has nine records of stoning; nine records of blindness and nine records of leprosy.

According to Galatians 5:22-23, there are nine fruit of the Spirit. There is no “s” on “fruit of the Spirit” because the individual fruits work together as a final unit of the heart: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance. Notice the first one is “love” and the final one is “temperance” or “self-control.”

Begin with love and your final result will be temperance. According to I Corinthians 12:8-10, there are nine gifts of the Spirit: wisdom, word of knowledge, faith, healing, miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, speaking in tongues, and interpretation of tongues.

So How Must We Enter 2016?

First we need to enter with a Repentant heart….repenting for our own sins and the sins of our nation. We must turn back to God – Fully!

We must enter with the knowledge that the time of judgment is upon us, the revelation of the man of sin is near and that Yeshua/Jesus is coming soon!

We must be clothed in Righteousness and Holiness;

we must live blameless lives before God and man;

We must enter into this year 2016, with our faces set like a flint towards God’s Holy Hill.

GET YOUR EYES OUT OF THIS WORLD AND SET YOUR GAZE UPON JESUS THE CHRIST OUR LORD AND SAVIOR!

We have no more time to waste in our traditions, works and carnal (worldly) wisdom.

We must enter 2016 choosing to walk blamelessly, to walk in Righteousness and Holiness in these last days….it’s the only way to become the Bride of Christ (the church without spot or wrinkle).

I AM CONVINCED

This is a message I shared on my Facebook page:

I am convinced that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is the only true and living God.

I am convinced that God gave the world His only begotten son Yeshua/Jesus Christ to shed His precious blood and die for our sin (of Unbelief) so that we could once again have relationship with the Father in Heaven and Eternal Life.

I am convinced that God’s Word is True and gives life to those who diligently seek Him; and the lies of this world are from the devil who hates all men and is “hell bent” on destroying us.

I am convinced that if every man, woman and child would turn their eyes (attention) away from this world and look towards heaven seeking God with all of their hearts and minds that they would no longer be bound in the sin and darkness of this world.

I am convinced that you believe what the world says about you because you are not “born again”.

I am convinced that until we receive the Agape Love of Yeshua/Jesus in our hearts, we are unable to shed abroad the kind of love that men so desperately need.

I am convinced that God’s people should examine themselves “often” to see whether you are in the Faith. If nothing else it will show you how you measure up to God’s Standard.

I am convinced that God’s people must not straddle the fence, rather choose this day whom you will serve!

Well, there is so much more concerning God and His Word that I am absolutely convinced of and I try to share as often as I can. Meanwhile, ask yourself what you are convinced of or not convinced of in God’s Word and if there’s any question….ask God….He’ll show you.

SHOULDN’T WE BE APPALLED?

Definition of appall: To fill with horror and amazement; dismay greatly.

Also note the synonyms of appall/appalling:
abhorrent, abominable, offensive, awful, disgusting, distasteful, dreadful, evil, foul, fulsome, gross, hideous, horrendous, horrible, horrid, loathsome, nasty, nauseating, nauseous, noisome, noxious, obnoxious, obscene, odious, rancid, repellent (also repellant), repugnant, repulsive, revolting, scandalous, shocking, sickening, ugly

I present to you some of the things in this world that fit into these definitions and why many of us need to examine or re-examine our spiritual condition.

1) Pets are no longer considered pets but family members; they now have equal rights with humans; in fact, animals have more rights to life than humans, and many are protected species. Billions of dollars are spent on non-essential products for animals, while hunger and homelessness abound. SHOULDN’T WE BE APPALLED?

2) Abortion is now an acceptable form of contraception; Pro-choice is a death sentence and, correct me if I’m wrong, has taken more lives than the Holocaust. Why isn’t there a law to protect the lives of unborn children….if there were such a law, then perhaps men and women would take better steps toward preventing unwanted pregnancy….better yet, stop having unmarried sex. SHOULDN’T WE BE APPALLED?

3) Today’s entertainment glorifies all that dishonors God….pornography, fornication, drug and alcohol abuse, violence and murder, lust & greed, child abuse…. the list goes on; TV, film and the music industry promotes whores and whoremongers of every kind; by the way….whoremonger is someone who “peddles” whores….like pimps; which is what most of the entertainment industry is. SHOULDN’T WE BE APPALLED?

4) Followers of Jesus Christ are being persecuted and killed in numerous countries around the world; The church in America is under consistent sustained attack in an attempt to destroy our beliefs, values and the moral fabric of our society. SHOULDN’T WE BE APPALLED?

These are just a few examples of what we all face every moment of every day and sadly, many of God’s own children have grown accustomed to and comfortable with these things. It seems as though we’re overwhelmed to the point of helplessness!

We say Christ abides in us and we abide in Him; we say that power and authority was given us to overcome the world and cast out demons; we say that we walk and live in the Spirit of God! Yet so many of my dear brothers & sisters in Christ stand idly by shaking their heads and bemoaning the things going on around them, and never taking an authoritative stance against any of it; just “waiting for Jesus to come rapture them away”.

But the truth is, many of us have our favorite shows don’t we?….mine were “The Voice” and “Project Runway” which may seem pretty tame, yet everything about the shows I watched and you watch are against God.

Even the news reporting is filled with stories and reports that regularly attack God, Jesus and Christian values while promoting sympathy and acceptance for every vile and evil thought and action; examples: Beyonce, Miley Cyrus, Madonna, Nikki Minaj, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Marilyn Manson, Elton John, Bill Cosby!

SHOULDN’T WE BE APPALLED? Could it be that we’re not appalled because we’re not righteous?

Yes, I know that most, if not all of us pray for the world yet we see very little of our prayers answered….why? I think the answer lies in James 5:16 Therefore, openly acknowledge your sins to one another, and pray for each other, so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

Proverbs 15:29 NLT
The LORD is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayers of the righteous.
Could it be that our prayers aren’t heard because we aren’t righteous? Surely we have moments of righteousness because we’ve all seen God answer some of our prayers and petitions; but do we eagerly seek after righteousness daily?

You can’t love the things of the world and God….there’s no middle ground…..you must choose.
Colossians 3:2 KJV
Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

My brothers and sisters we cannot allow ourselves to be lulled into silent acceptance of worldly wickedness. As Paul waited in Athens for Silas and Timothy (Acts 17:16-17), the text says: his spirit within him was disturbed at the sight of the city full of idols. 17 So he began holding discussions in the synagogue with the Jews and the “God-fearers,” and in the market square every day with the people who happened to be there.
We, like Paul, must be disturbed (appalled) because we are surrounded by idolatry and rebellion (which is as the sin of witchcraft) to the point of taking action. Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, live in the Spirit of God and use the authority given us by the Lord Yeshua/Jesus Christ to overcome the world.

BE APPALLED AND FIGHT: Ephesians 6:10-12 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places

2015 NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTION

Instead of making the every ‘year’ run of the mill resolutions such as to lose weight, why not make a resolution that will benefit you physically, mentally and spiritually;

Why not commit to follow Yeshua/Jeus….the benefits are eternal!
